A warm welcome awaits you at The Muskham Moorings. The Dixon family home has room to spare now that our three sons have flown the nest and we are pleased to share this tranquil setting with our guests.

We are situated just 2 minutes from the A1, with a choice of two exits almost equally near and a very simple journey from there to bring you to our door. You will soon be able to enjoy the immediate sense of relaxation our visitors experience at the sight of the river at the bottom of our garden and the fields beyond.

The Ferry pub is within walking distance where guests can take evening meals and there are plentiful and varied dining opportunities in nearby Newark on Trent. A little further down the road, but still within walking distance, by the A1 is Ashiana, an Indian restaurant.

North Muskham is only 4 miles from the centre of the historic market town of Newark on Trent with it's castle, market square and many wonderful places to eat at all times of day. A similar distance away is the Newark Showground which hosts a wide variety of events through the year including the famous Antique Fairs, LAMMA, Vintage Tractor events, Americana, the Notts County Show, New Wine Week, craft fairs, Autojumble and many more. We provide a comfortable and convenient haven of rest for the weary trader at such events and the footsore visitor alike and look forward to welcoming you and your party.
